I offer private piano lessons to Epic Charter students ages 8+. Because I am an approved vendor with Epic Charter Schools, students' learning funds can be used for piano lessons with me. Since Epic students typically do not have access to band programs, my piano studio could be a great option for your student to experience music. In my studio, I help students learn music they love. At no additional cost, I work to find or arrange student chosen songs. For more information on this, please see my curriculum page. You can find me listed on Epic's website here. Please don't hesitate to contact me for a free trial lesson!
If a student runs out of funds mid-month, and does not notify me in advance, the parent/guardian is responsible to cover lesson costs for the remainder of the month. For up to date policies about learning funds, please see Epic's learning fund page.
For lessons, I charge Epic students the same as my other students, $25 for 30 minutes, typically $100 a month. At this rate, Epic students can take a full academic year of weekly lessons paid for entirely by learning funds. I want piano lessons to be affordable and accessible. The lesson books we use (~$20 per year) may be purchased using learning funds as well. Parents/guardians will be responsible finding a keyboard or piano for the student to practice. Epic learning funds can be used to rent pianos/keyboards but this is not a service I offer. I personally recommend buying or finding a piano or keyboard instead of renting. Please see my FAQ's page for more information on finding a piano or keyboard.
